Mobile Promotions provided a nine metre artic for the Environment Agency to take their nationwide technology roadshow “Ways of Working” on tour. The roadshow informs employees of new eco-friendly ways of working.
The agency’s aim was to demonstrate to its staff, in their many different roles, ways in which they could work in the future. Its objective was to gather feedback about these possible ways of working, which will help shape the future work styles for the Environment Agency.
The tour route was designed to reach as many people as possible in the most economical way and will visit 26 office locations throughout England and Wales, in 26 days over seven weeks.
Mobile Promotions’ Project Manager Colin Allder explained; “We worked with the Environment Agency to refurbish a mini artic for the tour, fitting it with a number of workstations to create feature zones within the trailer.
Each zone tackles a different working method, from video conferencing to wireless PDAs for the teams to use on site and relay information straight back to base.”
Event Manager Laura Holt from the Environment Agency commented; “The ‘Ways of Working’ showcase is proving to be a success with over 2,000 Environment Agency staff attending the various workshops and drop-in sessions.
The support from Mobile Promotions has helped ensure the success of this project.”
