The Mall at Cribb’s Causeway’s
‘Autumn Fashion Week’ drew a full house
for a whole week of four daily performances, allowing
the West Country shopping centre to promote its retailers
and their brands in a fresh and exciting way. The event
attracted attention from local and national media, and
shoppers from far and wide.
The Mobile Promotions team acted as Production Management
for the event. We worked with our partners Losberger,
structure specialists, to create a temporary structure
which housed the fashion show.
The venue was designed to suit the stylish presentations,
to deliver a new source of revenue for The Mall at Cribb’s
Causeway (from the upturn in sales linked directly to
the promotion), and to deliver a ‘brand and product
experience’. The show was hosted by Ruby Wax,
who brought her own special and distinct style to each
performance.
The evening began with a drinks reception, food, wine
and soft drinks and the show featured clothes supplied
by a variety of retailers, followed by further drinks
and a chocolate fountain.
The Mall at Cribbs Causeway and Prudential Properties
agreed to stage this, a pilot of the ‘Event Pavilion’,
with Mobile Promotions, producing a fresh dimension
to their marketing strategy, which is being expanded
to include theatre, music and comedy shows this year
in this temporary venue.
Mobile Promotions worked closely with Marketing Manager,
Sue Boor to ensure that the event delivered the ‘wow’
factor that retailers and shoppers had not experienced
anywhere else before!
