Mobile Promotions created a big
‘wow’ factor with an inimitable promotion for the car
brand smart at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway.
The shopping centre has a number of scale models of
Red Arrows aircraft in its atrium due to its proximity
to the aircraft’s birthplace, Filton, Bristol. Taking
this idea, we suspended two “Red Arrows” otherwise known
as two “Red” smart cars.
This unique feature increased footfall at the shopping
centre, entertained shoppers, and delivered promotional
opportunities to create media interest in the centre,
whilst appealing to the community around The Mall at
Cribbs Causeway.
The exhibition was formed at relatively low cost through
our marketing knowledge and logistical experience. In
the public arena, below the suspended cars, a sampling
and “Try one now” smart test drive was organised for
shoppers alongside a competition to win the two ‘flying’
smart cars.
Value added features hit visitors and the sponsor brand,
as well as delivering sales opportunities to the local
smart dealer at Cribbs Causeway.
